Open Finance · Recurring Payment

One consent, for the whole series.

Recurring Payment lets a customer set up a single consent for a defined series of payments from their bank account. They approve the beneficiary, the amount or permitted values, the schedule, and how long the consent lasts, then payments are initiated on those terms. Bancify never holds the money; the banks and payment systems execute the transactions. Designed for the UAE Open Finance Framework.

What it is

Approve once.
A defined series follows.

A card asks for permission every time and breaks the moment it expires. Recurring Payment sets up a single consent instead. The customer approves the account, beneficiary, amount, schedule, and consent period up front, and payments are then initiated on those approved terms. It runs on the same UAE Open Finance rail behind Instant Payment, set to repeat within clear limits. The consent is valid for up to 12 months, and the customer can cancel it at any time.

Three ways it repeats.

One consent, everyday jobs: rent, recurring plans, and regular bills. Scheduled loan, insurance, and service payments are supported where the standards and consent model allow.

Rent collection

Set up rent once, on the tenant’s consent.

Rent is initiated from the tenant’s account on the due date, without the monthly chase.

Set up the recurring consent once when the tenant signs. The tenant approves the amount, the schedule, and how long the consent lasts, and each month’s payment is initiated from their account on the due date. You get a clear record of every cycle, and the tenant keeps full control to cancel at any time.

  • One recurring consent per tenant, on approved terms
  • Initiated from the account on the due date
  • A clear status on every cycle

Subscription billing

Bill recurring plans from the account.

A single consent that carries across cycles, so there are no card details to expire.

Charge monthly or annual plans directly from the customer’s account, on a recurring consent they approved. There is no card to store, and every payment is logged with its own reference. Because a recurring consent lasts up to 12 months, the customer renews it before it expires to keep the plan going.

  • Recurring plan billing from the account, not a card
  • Consent the customer controls and can withdraw
  • Renewed before expiry to continue past 12 months

Bills & utilities

Keep regular bills on schedule.

Utilities and repeat bills initiated on their due date, straight from the account.

Set up recurring consent for electricity, water, telecom, and other regular bills, so each one is initiated from the account on its due date without logging in to pay. Every cycle is recorded, and the customer can review the arrangement or cancel it at any time.

How it works

Set the terms once,
then keep control.

1

Set the terms

Choose the beneficiary, the amount or permitted values, the schedule, and the consent duration.

2

Consent & authenticate

The customer reviews it, approves, and authenticates with their bank. Consent lasts up to 12 months.

3

Initiate on schedule

Payments are initiated on the approved dates, within the approved parameters.

4

View, cancel, renew

The customer can view the arrangement and withdraw consent at any time, and renews it before it expires to continue.

Each payment is initiated on the approved terms. Completion is not guaranteed, as funds availability, bank controls, and payment-system availability still apply.

Why Recurring Payment

Predictable payments,
controlled by the customer.

One setup

A single consent covers a clearly defined series of payments.

Customer-controlled

Amount, beneficiary, schedule, and validity are all approved up front.

Consent you can manage

View, renew, or withdraw at any time. A consent is valid for up to 12 months.

Non-custodial

Bancify initiates on the approved terms and never holds or moves the money.

Clear status

Track upcoming payments and active permissions in one place.

Trust & compliance

Consent you control,
built for the UAE framework.

Recurring Payment is designed for the Central Bank of the UAE (CBUAE) Open Finance Framework. Every arrangement runs on the customer’s explicit consent, valid for up to 12 months and withdrawable at any time with no more effort than setting it up. Your bank authenticates you, Bancify never sees your PIN or password, and no funds pass through Bancify. Production availability is subject to CBUAE authorisation, certification, and participating-bank support.

Consent-driven

Explicit approval of amount, beneficiary, schedule, and validity, revocable at any time.

12-month validity

A recurring consent lasts up to 12 months; a new consent is needed to continue.

Non-custodial

Bancify initiates within the approved terms; banks and payment systems execute and settle.
